How it works
Bad Idea Boardroom is a business creativity party game.
Pitch terrible ideas, rescue doomed startups, and vote for the business plan that sounds least responsible but somehow still fundable.
Step 1
Host creates a room.
A host starts a boardroom, picks a deck, sets the round count, and gets a room code.
Step 2
Players join with a code.
Players use their phones, enter the boardroom code, choose a display name, and land in the lobby. No player accounts.
Step 3
The Trifecta appears.
Each round shows a Business Idea, Challenge, and Modifier. This is where common sense begins to lose market share.
Step 4
Players submit pitches.
Everyone writes their best worst answer before the imaginary investors start asking questions.
Step 5
The Board reveals the category.
The voting category appears only after submissions, so the room has to adapt to fresh strategic nonsense.
Step 6
Everyone votes.
Players vote for the answer that best fits the category. Own-answer voting is off the table.
Step 7
Scores, awards, chaos.
The winning pitch gets a point, The Board offers judgment, and the scoreboard preserves the damage.
